He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1997 and to the West Virginia Bar in 1998. His primary area of practice has been the representation of injured workers under various statutes, but primarily under the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act and Federal Employers Liability Act. Other areas of practice include employment law, social security disability and personal injury. He has litigated cases in both state and federal court, as well as in various administrative hearings throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland. Mr. Casey has been a lecturer for the Bar association, various unions and organizations on the topics of workers compensation and related employment issues. He has testified before the Pennsylvania Senate concerning needed changes to the Pennsylvania Workers Compensation Act. He currently serves as the Secretary for the Workers Compensation Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and is on the council for the Sole & Small Practitioners Section. In his spare time, Mr. Casey enjoys coaching his sons in football, baseball and soccer. His other hobbies include archery hunting and fly fishing. Finally, he serves as the Democratic Committee Man for his precinct in Westmoreland County.
